AH! Stop! No medicine! Using a lot of medicines irrtate your skin, causing your skin to secrete more oils causing more pimples because it’s so dried out to begin with. I has BAD acne and I don’t anymore, every now and then a pimple here a pimple there but never an outbreak! Use Olay Body Soap (Bar form, I like the anti-againg formula just ebcause it makes your skin firmer, but any is fine). Use St. Ives Invigorating Apricot Scrub, and Olay Regenerist Serum. The Olay Bars cost $2.70-3.50 for 2 bars, Apricot scrub is $3.00 and the Olay regenerist is about $14, but they all last for at least two months, sometimes longer, depends on how often you apply it and how much you use, but do that twice a day (soap) first, then scrub, then lotion, only do scrub and lotion once a day, in the morning, and soap in the venings before bed! Soon you’ll be acne free and it’s CHEAPER than Pro-activ and it’s non-irritating and it works!
Hi. Over the years i have tried many things for my ance from the contraceptive pill DIANETTE to MINOCYCLINE tablets to creams, and the only thing that seems to make a slight difference is DUAC once daily gel. Can anybody recommend anything else?

I’d stick with Duac.
I’ve had bad acne since the age of 12 and after years of trying different medications and creams this is the only thing that works for me.
That and also using Clean and Clear deep cleansing cream wash morning and night.
I’ve been using the Duac for nearly 3 months now and havent had a spot for about 2 months. (Your skin has to take time to get used to it at first) which obv. is a huge improvement as I have NEVER had a clear face for 7 years! Now all I have to do is get rid of the scars but I’m hoping they will fade in time
I found with Duac though that it really dries your skin out. My doctor recomended I use it every night but my face got so sore, dry and itchy I couldnt keep it up. Now I use it every other night and have no problems.
The only downside with it really is that once you stop using it, its likely the acne will return
